Is it just me or does this feel really mild for this time of year? I’ve prepped the car but it’s hardly even been raining up in Edinburgh.

We have had one storm but other than that, nowt.

I can’t remember how much I paid for them but when did folk start selling their first born to buy stock cubes?

Not at all Grenfell, I give my wife most of my wages and she runs the house as she’s far better than me at doing these things. Anyhow, I usually make home made soup for my lunch but unfortunately I left it on the bunker and had to go Tesco for lunch. Pot Noodles have gone up from £1 to £1.10. Now it...

I've a Stanley knife in my tool box even that's didgey the way the world is now just hope that it's seen in context that it's in a tool box with spanners screwdrivers vise grips etc all well used used the knife today to trim the tyre plug back after plugging the wife's car to get her home... So I have replaced all four tyres on my wee Polo, I have a sleeping bag in the boot, paracord and a camping knife.

Come to think of it, that’s dodgy if I’m stopped by Mr MacPlodd.

I best stick a first aid kit in as well!

Try and buy from local coffee businesses if you can. You are supporting a local business and if you buy a bigger bag, it will save you money in the long run. I know of one business down in Morpeth that were on Dragon’s Den and do excellent coffee, I occasionally get a delivery from them and it’s wel...

Considering Iran is currently flinging loads of missiles at Israel, I reckon the price of petrol is away to go through the roof so I’m off to go fill the car.
