I used to always carry my leatherman/gerber multi tool back when I wore the cheap green suit. But as has been mentioned here a few times, the blades lock so your buggered if you get stopped. What they said Use the smaller one and you can use the bigger one as a decent lid. Just be careful taking it off when your ready. I used to use my spork opposite the handle.

What about learning to fly a microlight? Very short take off and landing distances, no dedicated landing strip needed, uses normal unleaded and you dont need a huge hanger to store it. Admittadly they have a very very limited weight/storage capacity but certainly worth it if you needed to get to ano...
