Re: Something to do in lockdown
I love morse, to learn I use morse machine on android. Also on any android device you can change your keyboard from letters to a morse paddle. then every text is an oppertunity to practise. It's hidden in the assessability section What! Thats fantastic! How do you change it back, though, do you hav...

Re: Hello from the Midlands

For years I have been searching for decent prepper books. Not e books paperbacks. I have purchased a few seco d hand and whe they wer...

Re: Water
No problem, as said elsewhere we would normally advise you to start slowly and build up over time.... but in view of the current situations I would crack on as best as money allows. I want to buy some IBC tanks, but do not have the cash right now. Just remember to practise what you prep and eat/use ...

Re: Water
Water storage depends on your options and availability. I have a large stock in my shed, I plan to use this just for drinking water, however after a long time it will taste funny. Most likely due to the plastic leaking into the water from the bottles, so it is usually recommended to refresh your bot...

Re: EDC phone setup
The problem with that is it doesn't offer the same day to day benefits of a phone. If we are in a martial law/government take over situation I'm ditching it as soon as possible. However in our day to day lives we are far more likely to need first aid information or navigation information that we are...

Re: EDC phone setup
With google, amazon and apple setting up systems to trace your every movements, Amazon alexa being used to test for corona, I would not touch a mobile phone with a barge pole! I have an amatuer radio on me at all times, a good network of hams monitoring the frequencies and support 24/7 at a push of ...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 7.
I'm very late trying to organise the veg garden and I cannot get seeds at all, unless at silly prices. Sellers on ebay asking £4 postage for a pkt of seeds  All the sites I usually go to like Realseeds are closed until they catch up. Everything is out of stock. Starting to panic now because ...

Re: Lockdown?
but I can't get hold of seeds anywhere. And all the plants on ebay are PRE ORDER so I'm not sure whether to go for that and make sure I get some veg at some point. https://www.realseeds.co.uk/index.html Real seed are still well stocked and delivering however they are limiting orders to 1 of everyth...
