O god stoppit I can only go once a week , too much in petrol for us to go every day looking for bargains. But good for you, the only way to show them is to stop buying at silly prices.
I heard that elect is to go up later this year. Anybody know more about this?

What I can think of -- scissors, asprins, anti-histamines, brandy, suture kit, powerful antibiotics, Immodium.

Same here, can't afford that stuff, you can find alternatives cheaply here. Also a dehydrator (which I haven't got yet but want) and a garden !

Would a tin of baked beans do as a mess tin ? Eat the beans then keep the tin ?

I could have a lot more veg if the OH would just get his act together and DIG MORE :evil: One other important side to prepping is to learn to live with less. Learn to appreciate simpler meals. You know how it is when you're on holiday and outside working or walking for miles... you get really hungry...
