Re: Viper tactical light????
Any use? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01M6BN3C7/ref=mp_s_a_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1523135835&sr=8-33&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=cob+led+work+light IMG_20180407_222253707.jpg Thanks. I have something fairly similar already, but I wanted something small with more of a beam. The id...

Re: Viper tactical light????
They have been in touch and tell me the torch appears to be working and compared it to others it was the same power. It would now appear then the Viper tactical molle torch has very limited use for me. It was too dim IMHO to walk around at night, yes you could just about see the path but you'd strug...

Re: Viper tactical light????
Ok, somewhat unexpected result instead of replacing the viper torch they just sent me a refund. From the messages we exchanged I was expecting them to replace it. This leaves me looking for another small right angle torch. I don't really fancy buying another viper. This leaves me the manker EO3H, wh...

Re: Viper tactical light????
Interesting hack. I have several of each, I tend to leave mine so they come on in strobe if it's a 3 mode job. To be fair for the price those torches are pretty well unbeatable, and my original one has had a right hammering and is still going strong, the only problem I've had at all was one of the p...

Re: Viper tactical light????
Looks tidy, the button cells puts me off a bit, I've not had much luck with those, I like AA or AAA, easy to get. If you have a tenner spare grab an olight i3e eos mono for your keys, I've had one on my keys for about 2 years now, well impressed. Weighs nothing empty, one AAA gives about 30 mins (on...

Re: Boats/sailing
I've just spent the weekend in northwest wales and thought about this thread because we were stopping at a place that overlooked a harbour. A couple of things made me think. Firstly , tides . For a good few hours a day quite a few boats weren't even in the water , just sat on the mud st of the rest...

Re: Viper tactical light????
When I bought it it was a toss up between the viper molle and the manker EO3H. I wanted a small right angle to clip onto a front mounted molle pouch. Ok I didn't need a million Lms but I was hoping to see where I was going, and that isn't going to happen with the viper I got. To be fair it might be ...

Re: Viper tactical light????
This is the same one I got (from a different supplier but I'm out and cant check) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Viper-Tactical-Molle-Torch/dp/B00LA1GEA8 I've already sent mine back as it's so dim it's more or less useless. I don't know if it's faulty or just low powered, 1 watt should be half decent for ...

Re: Vandal Proof Site Office
We had one of these, or something very similar for a location hq some years back, it seemed pretty solid. It would keep out your average yob pretty well. My only real concern was if your inside it's fairly easy to block you in, then your kippered.
