So what would you guys suggest as good cheapish axe? I dont need one at the moment, it has to be garden tool/shtf use Estwing... Not sure which type but I really want one they have been on the go years I have an Estwing double. The blades are a little on the small size. And i would not say it feels...

not many people prepare FOR retirement. That is almost exclusively all I prepare for. Because even with pensions, I still wont have as much money to live on as I do now. With a handful of years yet to go, I am paying off the mortgage as fast as possible, so that I can then start putting money away ...

There are a couple of SWOG'S on here, who could advise you on ownership of woodland. Always read the small print and know the law, because if you don't the NIMBY'S will. 36K for that much land is actually quite cheap. But it is only that cheap because of the location. If old hand tools are your preference then the Woodland Fairs are certainly worth a look.
You can find stall after stall stocked with all variations of old axes, scythes, billhooks and stuff you probably didn't think even existed anymore.

I'm trying to say is don't forget to live today and you can't really prep for others, a box of tins is not real prepping. Hear Hear !
