I don't do boot sales these days,a lie in is far more attractive. Back in the day though when I first started this lark,I snagged rope,tarps,tools aplenty,petrol cans,fowl feeders and drinkers.One of the best buys was a set of sweeps brushes for a fiver.I still use them.

Yes,I agree with Panther.Not if but when.We have a new sub prime issue with the PCP car finance ( and its big!),inflation is putting pressure on the Bank of England to increase interest rates.That will come, and when it does a lot of 'Homeowners' will find they cannot afford to finance their mortgag...

Nothing wrong with rat packs, but they weren't really designed to be eaten long term, they're missing some nutrients, they're often high in salt and low in fibre, it's also an expensive way to buy food. They're certainly worth having, but I personally think it's better to plan your preps around nor...

What they all said^^. I do a lot of home brewing. When my 25 litre brew bins are emptied of beer and such, I clean them then fill to the top with clean , cold water and shove in about 250 ml of thin bleach , the cheap Asda or Tesco stuff at less than 30p per 2litre bottle. I leave it like that until...

I would get them up,shelter them til the next dose of warmth ( we will get some!) and get them in the sun to 'cure' them.I am glad you have mentioned frost,In am going to cut my Squash now.Mine were late setting too.
