I think the main point is to reduce the amount we rely on the state. The more self sufficient we are the better prepared we will be for any SHTF event. I have heard that a few times. What about a dented tin prevents suitability for long term storage? Does it affect the contents?Arzosah wrote:

I think it is best to take the best from both worlds. I have found both have their strengths and weaknesses.
