Re: 2018 the year for the BIG crash?

There has been talk of consumer credit being back in a bubble (of 2007 levels) and there being more OTT speculative derivatives going back on the market for a while. 2018 may be the start of a new crash, but not necessarily the end of the beginning. Re: Another threat to self reliance in the home

I dont think its all that enforceable, but also you have to think about the possibility of supplemental ethanol fireplaces for when you arent doing the whole loggy-woody-coaly thingy. So maybe just a question of variety.

Re: OOD flax seeds, good or not?

My guess is that if you soak the chia seeds, you are making a gel. The gel does the digestive system some good and might itself be the source of the main nutrition of the Chia seeds. you can make an instant "jam" with ground chia seeds, water and fruit inn a blender and it will go all jell...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 5.

In preparation for getting older and in accordance with the instruction of the physiotherapist i am now doing Pilates. Its not as silly as you might think. It really does target muscles that one normally doesn't work and I am still feeling the first one hour workout two days later. It has to be doin...

Re: OOD flax seeds, good or not?

If that is the case the entire batch might be affected so that's why its good to use small sealed batches. If you grind them, get them wet an let the powder soak for a few minutes then dehydrate them you g...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 5.

General "preps" are things I just do as part of my normal life these days. Don't take that much thinking about. Extra food in, money aside for bills. basic power cut kit sorted. Got my gas and ethanol for winter heat if needed. Enough cold cures and tissues in stock to deal with the first ...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 4

Have learned from experience that parasite zappers really do control natural human borne digestive system pathogens and have been using them and have had noticeable results. So this things may not "work" as in generate a 100% cure for anything (only saying that because there are so many th...

Re: Mini usb torch head thing??

you can get a very good working cycling head torch from the pound shop. They work on 3 AAA batteries and are long lasting. Might as well get a hand full of them as you can take the straps off an stand them up to make room lighting if things are bad. I still have no main lighting in my bathroom and I...
