Yay, finally convinced my SO to start buying bulk dried and tinned food, only taken a few years. 😂. Starting on my GHB, now, any recommendations for an army style or ex military rucksacks? The one I have isn’t really big enough for a decent ghb, for everything I think I need.

This is one of the big arguments about putting the state pension age up as we are supposed to be living longer, yes you can work longer if you have an office type based job, can a building site laborer still do that kind of work when they reach 68? Just trying to stock up by bulk buying dried foods, got some days off coming up so sort greenhouse out, getting ready for this years growing season.

Must try them, gonna get a mushroom kit to start off with and see how I go on with that, if it works I’ll it again on my own.

Getting seeds ready for this years growing season, gonna get a mushroom growing kit, not cost effective eith how much you can buy them but want to try growing then in bigger quantities maybe snd a kit is the way to learn. Had beans, peas, toms, spuds, all sorts last year, got greenhouse June so this...

Have looked at a few things, including using coffee grounds, working in a pub kitchen does have the odd advantage as I can get a good few of them. Will let you know how go on. Cheers peeps.

XRS001. Cheers for that, I’ll take a look, heard few years ago that experts thought that fungi could help the worlds food supplies because they can grow so well.

Blowing a hoodie in Edinburgh? I work on the banks of Lake Windermere, our beer garden is now part of the lake, again. 😂. Talking of lamps and torches, looking at getting a Fenix HM70 head torch, already got a Fenix torch and it’s been great, may think about a lantern, let us know what you decide on.
