the scales are Oak floorboards all hand cut and sanded, I fixed it in place with some stainless bolts and capped the countersunk nut off with oak dowel, my first attempt but I'm happy with the outcome, all the best "H"

Hey Grenfell, its a bit of an oddity, I've attached a photo inc of the original handle that was way small for my hands, I think your right that the blade is drawn towards yourself when using, it has been harshly ground but as it was a practice piece and didn't cost the earth is not a bad thing. the ...

Replacement handle 1st attempt
First Attempt at handle making, prior to the big one.... I strongly recommend having a practice piece as its quite easy to lash things up, please note the poor grind on the blade was down to the previous owner,

I have owned a 1977 Dutch KL Jacket for 32 years, I now have the liner for it but no hood ive attached photos of the jacket and the hood I'm after, by chance anyone happen to know where I can get one from as a search of the internet has come up...

Oh Heck........ My combo van I moved on some time back ( along with Soviet Joe) as it was attracting all sorts of attention I put it down to the royal blue paint job, not unlike the British gas vans so I guess that was a bit of a magnet to the would be criminals, on another note one evening 40+ cars...
