As these are stupidly expensive over here, I am considering asking no.1 friend in the US to send me some. If anyone is interested maybe we could club together and make a huge order then I'm happy to post out to all.

You can indeed, Lil. I'm old fashioned enough to keep some. My cast-iron tummy hasn't needed it in donkeys years though :D You can also get Kaolin tablets.

Back hurts so I've not a lot else to do, Sainsburys anti Diarrhoea(sp?) capsule has the same active ingredient as Immodium. Price difference? £1.50!

Oh don't talk to me about putting gardens to bed! mine was SUPPOSED to be done by now. However, due to the interference of a Cat a flight of stairs and floppy slippers(I'll leave the rest to your imagination) I have a bad back and nothing has been done! :evil:

Perhaps this might help T_S I found this just now. I have always used seed potatoes myself. Because of the complicated genetic blending of characteristics, I doubt you would get consistent results from seed. One other difficulty I think is valid to raise, one I rarely see addressed is the staying "Grey" when all around you are starting to look like they haven't had a good meal, and you're still healthy. What do you do then? It's something that plagues my mind. For those of us who have decided...
