Don't go on the railway. It is very busy with safety checks, keeping the vegetation back, train drivers spotting you etc,etc. Also illegal, could get a fine or worse.

Yep, spare boots, trousers, shirt, fleece and waterproof. Helps if one gets covered in something as well.

I am not ideally placed water-wise, heck it is only the key to life. :D Plan is to go the ampulla way for the food grade containers as well but not too big to be a hazard to move in case needed (I have found water to be remarkably heavy :x ) and also getting a lifesaver jerry can. It's a pricey plan...

The 5.11 tactical covrt 18 has loads of pockets and comes in a variety of colours. Can also take a laptop as well. I use in when travelling in foreign parts. Day to day I use the 5.11 tactical rush 12 to get to work and back. Does look tactical but nowadays military style bags are carried by everyon...
