I'll pick one up next payday and I might get a couple of the containers to hide in the shed. how long do you leave your water stores before changing them? 64 thousand dollar question that mate, there is at least one thread on here about it, I've got water tucked a...

I was made aware thanks to the forum (although I'm sure I'd ...
Re: Rucksack
Well, after all that I bought a Lowe 30 litre rucksack. Not the best quality that I saw, but it was on offer (and therefore the cheapest) and most importantly, it is comfortable! Will give it a test run at the weekend. Thanks once again for the replies. Glad you got something you like mate. I'm a f...

Re: What are you dehydrating?
Doing a 'twofer', leeks and peppers, 5 trays used and I've got 3/4 of a pineapple to go next. Loads of carrots too although I don't really use the carrots very often, still, better than going fusty.

Re: Suggest an EDC Pen
I'm feeling lucky punk! so, stock up on the free little ones...then go to any high street stationers and try out loads of sensibly priced pens that "write nicely". (although some would suggest the man and not the tool control such things) My guess is you'll end up with a FIST FULL q...
Re: Rucksack
Get yourself down to Go Outdoors or similar and try some on, they're not tactical bags but built for walking/climbing and to be comfortable. I've got a load of rucksacks of different sizes and I don't buy unless I've tried them on. If you spend a bit of money on a Berghaus or Lowe etc then they'll l...

Re: The last time you used your EDC?
Opened a bottle of wine with my SAK in my music lesson this morning. hic. I think historically that's why I preferred SAK's to the various multi tools, SAK's have a corkscrew. I opened a bottle in the house with a corkscrew the other day, the first time in God knows how long, screw tops are so much...

Re: Bulk Buy Toilet Rolls
18 rolls for £2.99 at B&M - I just buy as needed. Home and Bargain do similar one's for £3.20. Are any of those deals better than 15p per roll? Never mind, those eBay badboys are 14.6p each - delivered that's a slightly better and possibly worthwhile deal. They need to be princess tested though...

Re: Suggest an EDC Pen
really? So whats wrong with just walking into a bookies or ikea and taking a fist full of the little pencils/biro's?.. bang some in the car, in the edc, toolbox, locker etc wipe out quality with quantity! :D and zero outlay, I've many things higher on preppy list than a implement with which...
