Thanks featherstick - trouble is, my nearest Aldi is a train ride and a long walk away, and I'm not travelling at all at the moment I'm even doing meetings that should be face to face on skype.

I have one week of storecupboard eats all together, but everything else (about a million years of dried beans for instance) is stashed into plastic crates upstairs, or on a bookcase in the kitchen. First aid items have their own crate.

Right, I *have* to do something - enough of the recuperation, already! Off to the garden to at least put the fallen leaves into black plastic bags and encourage them to decompose.

My own prepping: nothing at all this week :( I have a gastric thing that won't go :( Have you tried this? Drink cold semi flat lemonaid (not diet version) and eat a couple of packs of Rowntrees fruit pastels (the ones covered in sugar) spread over a few hours, for some reason this works! Good luck ...

I've got a little plastic crate of mostly tinned goods, with some dried (fruit etc) and the odd bit of sauce (tomato puree, and a jar of pesto) for a week of no-cook food put together in one easy place. I can't abide tinned sauces, they all taste awful to me, no matter how cheap/expensive they are, ...
