I am no archer, or metal detector but in electronics you can buy copper tape or copper paint like nail varnish, other metals are also made in tapes or varnishes as well as I cannot remember if copper would be detected but I think it would. As preppers should we not be looking beond pre made flour. I buy and store wheat berries, which store indefinatly. They have made bread from wheat berries found in egyption tombs.

I would also invest in insulation to prevent the heat getting into the loft. Foil lined insulation under the tiles will reduce lots of heat in summer and keep you warmer in winter.
