Aye, its a charge controller, cost about 14 quid. I've got an extra few hundred quid I wasn't expecting so I'm pressing on with it. Still swithering over the panel and batteries, seen some but trying to get the right ones. It is fun though. Well if your on a bit of a budget I can recommend eco wort...

How long does a 200 litre water butt take to fill up with normal British weather ? I'm thinking of getting one and using it to flush the downstairs loo. I'm currently using some Tescos own brand dried milk with a BBE date of May 2012, seems perfectly fine to me.
