Re: Bug Out Boat
If I spend a lot of money on a boat I want the one in Alaska that’s made out of a special plastic that can jump fallen trees and if it gets grounded you can just push it out yourself. I’ll see if I can look up the details... But I’ve tried to make the case for at least a canoe with all the flooding ...

They can be sterilised and re-used till you wear through them. I bought some from Tescos recently £1.25 a pair they were half price....

Re: Self Build to include a bunker
I believe all protective locations need an out...the less known about the better...that way if you were witnessed going inside by non-group members, the latter might think you’re still inside, constantly watching the same entry/exit point...when you may already be long gone...unseen. Getting trappe...

Re: this brought a smile to my face re seed saving
If you store them correctly then can last longer, (the world seed bank for example) but most of us don't have those kind of facilities or resources. Besides I think its very important you know how to grow which is the message Real Seeds are ultimately trying to get across. If you are already growing...

Re: this brought a smile to my face re seed saving
Sage advice really. I think sometimes prepping for the unknown, and not knowing exactly what circumstance you will face can feel overwhelming and if growing your own isn’t your usual area of interest you can underestimate how much work, knowledge, weather dependancy and luck is involved in the whole...

I assure you I was genuinely quite baffled that Nescaf wasn't "real coffee".General DeGaulle wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 8:09 pm Hmmm... Assuming you're not pulling my leg, any ground coffee is fine,
I see what you mean now, I was overthinking it - not so worried I was missing something most of my life! lol

Re: Central London newbie

Welcome, welcome! If you've been lurking awhile I'm glad you've finally made the transition then! :) Personally, I ...
