Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 10
Talking of finance preps, I've got an ISA with one of the building societies that are offering 9% p.a. interest (on a maximum £50 a month, so it's not massive). But still worth doing, it's double the rate for anything else. A personal finance decision: I was going to buy the dvd/download of Don't L...

Re: EV’s the best post shtf vehicle?
 Okay, whatever. 'Mr Mechanic' is a mate who I've known for 15 years and I actually trust him implicitly. I realise that trust is an alien concept to many, particularly on this forum, but there are still some decent folk out there and he's one of them. My wife is the same with our mechanic of...

Re: EV’s the best post shtf vehicle?
Our local mechanics were not over thrilled either when my wife asked about them. We have nowhere to charge one as it is anyway. Same. And he also said that the technology was nowhere near where is should be for him to feel confident in recommending one to any of his customers. Call me mr Cynical bu...

Re: EV’s the best post shtf vehicle?
I asked my mechanic whether I should be thinking about buying an EV and he just laughed. That solved that then. Petrochemicals for the win! Our local mechanics were not over thrilled either when my wife asked about them. We have nowhere to charge one as it is anyway. Same. And he also said th...

Re: Finger lickin good .
I appreciate 'free range' doen't mean exactly what we'd hope it meant. In contrast anyway, I was walking along the canal today and two canada geese were blocking the path, with three chicks. I waited for a bit as my lodger had said they've been known to attack people. Didn't fancy getting bird flu ...

Re: The deep purpose for preppers
…this is UK Preppers, not USA Preppers. I’ll go with Yorkshire Andy on this and use a similar phrase to him; Nuttier than a fruitcake is this. This is the United Kingdom. Sad, but true. Sadly, the prevailing attitude in this country by and large is 'my personal rights are far more important than the...

Re: Going on holiday (abroad)
It's nothing to do with 'hash' and 'good stuff'. CBD is a chemical substance found in cannabis that has medical benefits - it's full name is Cannabidiol. It doesn't get you high, because the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the stuff that give users the 'high' they experience when they us...

Re: Going on holiday (abroad)
CBD oil is good stuff. I have a lot of friends who use it for menopause symptoms and they say it's changed their lives. I take the gummies especially over winter time. They may be a placebo or not but they appear to dampen the arthritis in my dodgy knee down a bit. If it's working for you then who ...
