I'm doing it because I'm changing the way I look after my garden, completely. I've always tried to juggle the competing demands of the environment and "volunteer" plants th...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 6.

Just ambling along, really. Adding to the stash as we go through frightening amounts of chocolate (me) and toilet paper (the rest :D) . Went through the out of date stuff a few days ago, but aside from a few tins of fish, there wasn't a lot to chuck. The fish was in ring-pull cans, which I don't tr...

Re: Feeding the masses

A lot of people keep saying they cant imagine food shortages happening here. A few years ago I remember the weather forecast showing the entire British mainland all white covered in snow. If it had lasted for any length of time we would have had big problems. Jansman can you provide details on how m...

Re: Brexit in October?

So. Everyone is pig sick of Brexit and the cartoon characters dealing with it and frankly ,I am beyond caring now. At the beginning of the year it really did look as though we may have to endure shortages etc. and (if?) it happens this year we may still. Like many of us, I stocked up on items I con...
