Re: My Stockpile workbook.

If you want to host something then dropbox is useful
Thanks, I know I could use dropbox, google drive or many other products to host the file. I could also host it on my own server, very easily.
The reason I don't is that I wish to retain anonymity, as all preppers should.

Re: My Stockpile workbook.

I tried multiple times to upload this. extension .xlsx is not allowed. Fair enough. So I tried renaming it to .txt and that wasn't allowed either. Mods, please fix this or let me know how I may upload.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 4

This weeks major prep investment: Cobra crossbow pistol, spare strings and a lot of bolts. I know it's 50:50 whether this is a toy or a small game hunting weapon, but for £60 it's a start. removed by mod we steer clear of weapons talk in terms of self defence due to the legal ramifications if a memb...

Did not try any bar the bit in the siphon tube ,,, tasted like beer :D Also bought the sugar drop thingys (Carbonation Drops) for ease of use but they are designed for 330ml bottles not my 500s , so looked online and...

Amoxicillin (FishMox) availability to the UK

Until a few months back, it was apparently easy to buy Amoxicillin 100 capsules at a time in the form of fishmox. That product was apparently the same stuff as we get in the UK on prescription, pretty much from the same factory and of the same standard. OK. I won't debate the merits of taking fish m...

Re: Homebrew

After years of being a wine drinker I have really gotten into Real Ales over the past 6 months, but they can be quite pricey, £6 for 4 bottles at the mo. So thought I might try home brewing :D Any tips and tricks, have heard that Wilko does good value kits ?? You won't go far wrong with Youngs, Coo...

Re: My Stockpile workbook.

Thanks, Oh, yes. I have an IT support background of sorts. I'll dumb it down, pop a few usage notes in and upload it as is. If nothing else, it's got a great list of what to buy cheaply from where, and helps evaluate calories, value for money, and with very little effort, helps organise stock rotati...

My Stockpile workbook.

As mentioned in an earlier post, I record my food stockpile as an Excel workbook. The contingency I'm prepping for is long term breakdown of utilities, transport, food supplies and eventually society. In the workbook, I keep tabs on Purchase Dates, Best Before Dates, Item Calories per Unit, Cost per...

Re: Newbie describing my initial steps

Sounds good to me! Interesting that you raise driving frugally - I don't recall a discussion by preppers on that issue  though I've seen it on moneysaving sites. Well, I guess it's not classic prepping advise, but if one of the first things to become unavailable is fuel for transport, then...
