Re: Antarctica melting article

Interesting read Prep007. I'm sure I saw something this week about a volcanic vent under Antarctica too, I'll see if I can find it in my search history.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 7.

Tidying up the plots in the garden, taking brambles to the tip, cleaned the poly on the poly tunnel.
Also got some more ex batt hens from local animal rescue. Theyre a bit baldy but settling in nicely and got an egg today too!

Hi Brett, Never too late to start "putting a few tins away"! We're in our 60's and i've been "done out of my pension" by the government (till i'm 66 at least) so we prep for economic/ societal problems. We grow spuds and other veg and keep hens and bees and every little helps! Good luck with your pr...

Hi SamR28, hope you like it on here! We're a couple of old dears who got into prepping after the tanker drivers strikes in 2000. Re: Hello from Central Lancashire

Hi Stu, good thinking by you and your wife to become more self reliant! Theres loads of really good information on here and everyone is very willing to give solid, practical advice. Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 5.

Our recent preps include digging an extra veg plot in part of the lawned bit in our garden to plant wheat to "grow a loaf" and buying a purple pitcher plant, just in case small pox makes a return! :)

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 4

Been busy in the garden planting up seeds which have germinated. Managed to get a hop plant from a local nursery too!
Stocked up on herb remedies, vitamins and Rennies etc.
Refilled all water stores and water butts in the garden.
