Re: are you planning to hunker down to avoid ppl contact due to covirus

Re: 2020 Potential Economic Collapse

Yep, when you hear statements like that expect the opposite. The chancellor also said in his later statement that they would be "adapting to future developments" which covers pretty much anything else. Hope im wrong but...... :( They can't win then, if Cairney had said that it was something that he...

Re: 2020 Potential Economic Collapse

"Bank of England cutting interest rates to £uck all makes a mockery of saving money." Its getting really silly and dangerous out there now. Think I saw someth...

"Regular" flu spreads every year , mutates and kills an awful lot of people , we know what it does and can do yet we perhaps under react to it. I'mnot saying the response to c...

Re: Lockdown?

For many people being with their "other half" and perhaps "the kids" 24/7 will be an eye opener. :o It is definitely something to consider as stress levels and peoples temperaments would be severely tested in what could be a pretty scary scenario. Lock down might be a fun and exciting adventure for...

Re: Lockdown?

We could live 'boring for a 2 or 3 months and survive for a few more after that if need be. If we were being careful that could be stretched even further but I doubt we'd be that frugal at the start of a lock down, food (from experience) is key when you're in a mundane situation, its one of the thin...

As soon as this is over, it will take about 48 hours and Preppers will go back to being ‘Nutters’ .
Until the next round of Brexit* panic anyway..... ;)

*Remember Brexit, that was the thing where we got our drama before the Corona virus came along.
