This year i tried ORGANIC NETTLE TEA, 4 CUPS A DAY. This year i have only had really mild effects. Is...

Another fail.... this time a 'Treckmates' ferro rod.. The rod cam out of the plastic end holder.
Nice rod - soft - that produces a good strike.

Re: Are ferro rods fragile?

They are very brittle..... I bought a standard looking ferro rod when i was trying them for the first time from bcb for practice. I snapped it in the middle on the first use.
My advice, practice how to use them ... a good video is this:

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

I concur.... Cant remember where i read it, but i also have read stories of cannibalism during the winter in Stalingrad.... little children going missing and so on. The levels some will go to are incomprehensible, if it were me i would be tempted to go to the coast... anyhow.. I am currently in the ...

Re: EDC for a hightened security area?

Now i'm not the kind that'll bow down or stay indoors because of some moron who wants to kill a load of people. Re-evaluating the terrorist shooting in Paris, i now include a proper First Field Dressing on me at all times - If i get shot, i get shot, but i at least want to stop the bleading. I also ...
