Re: Prepper -'lite' or full on survivalist

I would suggest that for most people in the UK, the best you could achieve is Prepper-lite. The option to bug out is not really an option. Certainly down here on South Coast, there is nowhere to bug out too - 10 miles outside of anywhere is pretty much 5 miles into somewhere else, if you get what I...

We have two 120w solar panels charging two 80A/h leisure batteries, these are used to recharge AA/AAA batteries and LED rechargeable lamps and power banks (B&M), these are sufficient for our needs, (tried and tested). In a SHTF situation with no mains power in the foreseeable future, we could n...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 11

Bought a new (to me) car, now looking to source five steel rims as I don't trust alloys on the local roads..... Not when the potholes and patches make them look like moon maps. Anyone know where I can get a jerry can spout to fit a real military can? I have a 10lt copy the spout fits fine, but not ...

Re: Pallet Wood quality Question

With old slotted screws you can clear the slot out easily (of old paint and putty) and if you put your screwdriver
in the slot tap it with a hammer it will often come out easier.

Re: Home defence

We are an 80 year old couple, fairly healthy for our age and also well prepared for most emergencies.
