Re: Gadgets everywhere

This thread is nuts! Are you genuinely worried that because a washing machine has lots of red lights and an electronic control, you are at risk? Surely electricity continuity is the bigger risk to your standard of living? Or water supply? Or ability to buy detergent? That internet-of-things will be...

Gadgets everywhere

I have a friend who has just about everything automated and working from his phone it seems. This gives me the heebee geebees. I in my 50's and understand tech but I've always had an irrational fear that some day technology is going to get more intelligent then we think it will. If he loses the use ...

Re: Audiobooks or reading?

I read a lot. I mainly read on the kindle app on my phone but have never got on with audio books. I don't have a lot of physical books anymore as we got rid of a lot when we moved into the flat. I do always treat myself to a book or two on my holidays though.

We are making sure we have all the ‘nice’ stuff in by the weekend. On Sunday Mrs J has a Covid test booked prior to her long awaited surgery on Wednesday. From Sunday she, me and daughter have isolate to the point of hospital drop-off. Just hope she doesn’t test positive!
Fingers crossed.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 7.

Went to the hairdressers for a trim yesterday. After leaving it too long and then going into lockdown last time I am going to keep on top of it from now on. After reading the news and cases rising I decided to forgo the trim and just went for the full lockdown special :)
