Disneyland Paris kit list

Hi, I'm going to Disneyland Paris with the family in December and I would like to know of people's experience of the park in terms of safety, security etc. And I am going to start preparing a bag and contents for the time spent in the park and also things to be left at the hotel. We are travelling b...

The Death Of Grass by John Christopher.
Thanks for that suggestion. I just read the blurb, and it sounds just what I am after.

Re: Suggestions

Hi all, it may have been asked before, apologies. Can anyone give me literature suggestions for UK based prepping/eotwawki novels please. I would rather more realistic story lines- not zombie/aliens etc. My imagination may stretch to EMP though. Pretty sure this fellah is full of stories of assorte...

Re: Cooking - bugging in

That is certainly something to be aware of. I meant I'd do it as soon as I suspected it was time. I suppose that would be if the power had been down for the time it takes for the freezer to start thawing out and then the time it takes the for to defrost. Maybe I'd share the BBQ, as a bit of a gestur...

Re: Cooking - bugging in

My first port of call for a SHTF situation where there were issues in such I would bug in and cook would result in all the reduced meat coming out the freezer, defrosting and then one big BBQ! I don't have a large barbeque but a few of the small portable ones.

New Gerber Strongarm

I've just received my delivery from Amazon of a Gerber Strongarm. It is a lovely tactical fixed blade full tang knife. It looks the business and I think it will function well too. It came with a great holster and clips for a few different options of carry. It was pretty sharp out of the box, but I w...

Re: My keyring

Apologies for the delay in replying. I have the one with the scissors. I can use it whilst attached to the keyring but it is easy enough just to unclip it. I see your point regarding the worn look. But I do love the matte black just purchased look. I think I will take the idea of a little pen attach...
