Re: Size does matter...

Swisscard lite, use it all the time, particularly the scissors and pen. Just a bit thicker than a credit card.

Tin Can Cook

Picked up Jack Monroe's new book today and had a read through it. As the title suggests, it's all about cooking food from tin cans and has 75 recipes. I have to say, was very surprised at how original she's been with the recipes, looking forward to trying out a few of them. This is gonna add so much...

Re: How are you preparing for Brexit?

Quill, if you're talking about a couple of hundred pounds, I'm not sure that converting to Swiss Francs will preserve the value of your money (unless you're visiting Switzerland next year, of course). For that amount of money, the costs of the transfer will probably at least equal any preservation ...

Re: How are you preparing for Brexit?

So, what are the Gang's thoughts on money? Cash: Sterling, US Dollars or Euros ? Money in the bank or in the hand? PM's, Worth the hassle or not? This is just with a view to our Exit, not with general prepping in mind There's arguments for all three. -Sterling will be the most useful in the UK but ...

Re: Tea light lanterns

Good drills, thinking outside the box. We're all in different situations and if you need to be discreet then that's it, you need to be discreet. As you say, they can be a decorative (romantic if you're lucky ;) ) way to prep. It gives you an excuse to keep plenty spare candles, especially if you're...
