Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 7.

Sorted out the garage, went through the sell by dates on everything and made a list of extras I need.

Bought a pack of ffp3 face masks, just in case.

Re: Where to live

The best place to go would be the Isle of Man I’d say.

Re: Snatch Landrovers

Find a good chiropractor if you’ve bought a defender. I had one for about 9 months and had to sell it because 1 - It cost a fortune with fuel, insurance, parts etc. 2 - It did my back no good at all, despite fitting Mazda MX5 heated electric leather seats 3 - I was paranoid about it getting nicked, ...

Re: Torch

Yep, those ones with the different levels of lighting and SOS/strobe button wind me up no end because I forget which one it’s set on. So when I go out in the garden of a night time to fight off he invading slugs from my veg patch it strobes and I look like a right wally. If you can use a soldering ...

Knife Sharpener

I’m looking at buying a proper knife sharpener, mainly the victorinox pocket sharpener for about £10. As it will fit in my EDC pouch.

Does anyone have one or recommend another type?

Torch

I’m wondering which type of torch each of you carry as an EDC, what you have in your cars, at home, in the BOB etc. I’ve got a decent maglite for at home but it isn’t LED and you can’t adjust the light, it’s a new torch but it’s old fashioned if you ask me. Now I’ve got a load of cheap Chinese rubbi...
