Re: Brexit in October?

Sunday afternoon 4pm, Suffolk / A12 / Tesco, no unleaded petrol.

Shell garage opposite has a cue on all pumps.

I assume its a Tesco only issue. :?:

Re: Anyone growing winter crops?

"Then I will have half a dozen raised beds ( concrete blocks so they last forever) 8x4 with integrated frost/ pest covers." And easier on the back. We used [FREE] concrete roof tiles for the edges, set into the ground only about 3" or 4" which was plenty to leave 12" sticking up, and they lock toge...

Re: Frozen food should we ditch after 4 months?

Re: Anyone growing winter crops?

I suppose it also relates to where you are in the country as to what you can keep growing deep into the winetr. Re: Frozen food should we ditch after 4 months?

We have four freezers (Yes I do a freezer fetish???) all are old, pre-owned, so we do keep thermometers inside to check they are cold enough. From our experiences we have used meats older than 12 months without any noticeable problems, but perhaps some degradation in the vegetables. Four months is n...

Re: Brexit in October?

Went to Tesco's today for cheap fuel using a money off voucher (tight wad that I am) and again there was no AD Blue in the shop. An old chap was filling up his car in front of ours and hey presto, in the boot he also had two Jerry cans he was also filing at the same time. I asked if he was planning ...

Sorry to hear that Jansman, politicians don't see the real impact their silly games have on ordinary peoples lives. Hope all goes well.

Mrs A is now grinning like a Cheshire cat and I'm having to think of alternate hiding places for the choc box.
