Re: London Protests

Just how easily and quickly a small amount of disruption can have such a major impact is a good lesson for all of us. I'm back after a few months break when I could only occasionally dip in to the forum, oh how I missed it. After spending 9months in a caravan with no water or electric we've moved to a cottage a few months ago. Water comes out of taps :o hot as well as cold! bliss :) Lights come on at the flick of ...

Re: Septic tanks.

I dont know the topography and situation but a reed bed / filtration pond might be a way forward if you have to undertake major works? Lots of different types and options available, especially if its located downstream / after the septic tank. But local bylaws and NIMBY attitudes to contend with as ...

Hi Urban Prepper,
Situational Awareness would be a good skill to learn, given your home location and history of attacks.
Lots of good advice available on here so dive into the archives as well.

Re: Considering the future

I agree with the previous post. As things warm up everywhere the areas previously considered "harsher" environments are likely to become very much more productive and attractive. We are in a similar situation to yourselves by the sound of it, although a few years ahead maybe, and we have been lookin...
