Re: Where to buy CAT (the tourniquet) and what price should

The way to stop the stick from turning on a Tac-Med SOF tourniquet seems harder than in a CAT, way more fidgety. Have you tried self application in different positions? Application to other people? How did you find it?

Re: Track records for different vehicles/years

I do like some Land Rovers, but I hear a lot about how they used to have reliability issues and then they got better. But since I'm planning to buy something old (90s or 00s), I'd need to know when they got better. The other one that I like that can be within my budget is Jeep Grand Cherokee. About ...

Track records for different vehicles/years

Hello preppers, Some time next year I want to buy an old SUV to be my bug out / camping vehicle. My plan is to get something old/cheap to improve it with my dad as a project. I still want to get something reliable. Are there some stats of how reliable different vehicles turned out to be? Of course, ...

Re: Are you considering buying a 5.11 Rush 72 backpack?

That's really good info about the cooking kit. I have yet to get one and I run out of space already. I'd like some help figuring out how to improve my kit, but that's another post all together.

Yeah, I know there are plenty fake ones. Some, you can easily tell them apart on Amazon. Hence I want to do some research to buy proper ones. :?

Where to buy CAT (the tourniquet) and what price should I ex

Hello, I made a mistake in a previous post, where I meant to ask about CAT and I typed RAT: http://www.uk-preppers.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=14927 because that thread now evolved in a conversation about RATs, I decided to make another post. I want to buy a few CATs but the best price I fo...

Are you considering buying a 5.11 Rush 72 backpack?

Hello preppers, For my bug out bag I chose a 5.11 Rush 72 backpack and my girlfriend and I made a very long video going through all the details of the backpack. I am lucky enough that I could go to a shop and try it out and see it for myself, but since these types of backpacks are not available ever...

Re: Another newbie from London

Hello and thank you for the welcomes. Storing it in the freezer is a good idea. At the moment it's filled up with food, but I'll keep it in mind. We do have some under-the-stairs storage. I just have to convince the other people in the house that storing water is better than whatever crap we have. T...

Re: Where to buy RAT (the tourniquet) and what price should

I had a quick Google search and for some on the official site for 17 dollars so 30 quid seems a bit steep. Might be worth shopping around a little. The only thing if say is avoid places like Amazon and eBay and look look on a proper medical supply shop or tactical gear shop. As a cheap one could wi...
