Re: What to do?

Are they able to be moved into a greenhouse for a longer growing season? That or you could use some frost netting if you have it on hand. If not composting them will still be of use to next year's harvest, all is not lost :)

Car Boot Sale Bargain Hunting

Hey all. I was reading an article about the kind of stuff preppers will jump for joy if they found cheap at a car Boot Sale. For example cast iron pans and pots..
Has anybody came across something at a boot sale or charity shop like this before??

Re: What to do?

I would make a Bone meal and rabbit manure compost tea and water them with that every 3 days. If there's no change after two weeks I'd say they were just unfortunately a bit weak. Then I'd rip em out and compost them.

Re: Condor machete part 2

How well does it cut? And what's do you personally use it for at the moment? I like the idea of a machete style blade to take down long grass/thicket although this one looks a little on the short side for that kind of use. Nice looking blade though

Ah I see, I think many people would be out to find firewood and if you live in an urban areas like I do the trees would not last long. I think I should start collecting soon. The more the better!

Re: How will YOU keep warm on cold winter nights?

Now I assume this fuel source is straight from the tree? Would it need to be Dried out for a season before burning properly or is it possible to burn slightly "wet" (on the inside) wood?

Re: Hello everybody, what's your thoughts?

Hello Deeps, yeah I have seen some of the more far out predictions, I recently seen somebody mention that even a job loss which is extremely common could be helped by storing away food to keep costs down. Lucky for us in Scotland we get the freshest of water free :D

Re: Hello everybody, what's your thoughts?

I will check out that channel, thanks DangerMan. I can understand how it could be hard to keep preparing when you never know if anything will come. I think for myself because I am into gardening/horticulture most of my prepping will consist of being self reliant after initial food stocks are deplete...
