Re: Fire-lighters

Hi all, Although my probation officer says I'm not allowed to play with fire here is a few hints. Tampons ... I always have some of these in the first aid kit as they are good for plugging a bullet wound but if you pull them apart they will catch a spark from a flint quite well. I always bag the saw...

I for one would be very interested to hear about it, theres a good number of people on here with small holding/farming backg...

Re: Hello Everyone

Bugging in , for most, is probably the better option. That being said, as a carer for 2 disabled people, do you have a bugout/escape plan just in case? I've an escape plan for me but I'm going to have to leave the other two behind. Of course, I'll shoot them in the head before I go to make sure tha...

Re: Helping the neighbours - in what situations....?

These are good questions that I had not asked myself. I think it depends on the level of the problem and how long term it is. 1) Do you work with your neighbours for defence, or bug in and lock up? As I'm part of the "Neighbourhood Watch" scheme then yes, I expect we will work together. 2)...

Hello Everyone

After living through a childhood threat of nuclear war in the sixties I've always been a prepper. I'm preped for the 'zombie apocalypse', yes, I know it makes me sound like a nut but it is a good cover all for everything that could go wrong in life. I even prep for my cats by making sure there is fo...
