Haha I loved britas empire . Yes I do have torches (mainly rechargable head torches and also have a couple of solar power banks and spare batteries .my daughter recently made me add a crank powered lantern into the mix aswell (she's only 10
and more mindful of preparedness than me )

Only managed to see half of your post when I replied andy . Your quite right on a few points there and thank you for raising the less "doomsdayer" points of a bob . Luckily the wife is a terrible cook and the smoke alarms are tested daily around the 5pm mark

That is a good question I think plan A would be to stay at home secure it as best as possible in a shtf situation , I keep it as a bag really to keep it all together and easily accessible.
