Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 6.

That's a good point Arzosah, depending on vouchers and gift tokens etc has become a wee bit iffy these days
I'm working on tea coffee milk and sweetener this week. Last week was bacon and bread flour. Just adding an extra tenner to the weekly Sainsbugs order.

Well I've lived here 30 years and in the next village for 12 years before that, so I'm familiar with the terrain. But I'm never out on the hill now so things will have changed. I used to walk for miles with my son and his hawk, and that way we knew where every electric fence was, every bull was (vit...

Re: How are you preparing for Brexit?

Can anybody remember tea chests? Everybody used them in the 50s for moving house or storing stuff. Huge square boxes in thin splintery wood, lined with silver foil  Wonder what tea comes in now.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 5.

I've had a coal fire most of my life, hated the time in a flat on all-electric. We've got 2 coal bunkers, one for the ovals and one for anthracite. I think the local councils are moving away from coal though, it's not fashionable any more and they will want us all to go electric (no mains gas up her...

Re: How are you preparing for Brexit?

I use loose tea in one of those wee thingies Arzosah, as well as bulk teabags from Costco. I drink an awful lot of tea
