I'm a great believer in old fashioned home remedies. I use brandy because I hate the smell of whisky, it's great with asprin for heatstroke - hubby used to get that on hot summer days. We're on the Tweed. Try fishing anywhere without a very expensive permit and yur in big trouble. More bailiffs down there than midges

Well the ins and outs of political doings aren't the big thing for us here- our job is to find ways round them. Any ideas and "fixes" welcome - we've already had some good ones.

What you're saying is all true though Kiwififer, it's real, and we have to prep for reality but its not easy when it's health care going down the plughole is it

It happens to us all - yes that's it in a nutshell. And we just have to get on with it, because the fairies aren't going to come in the night and wave a wee pink wand and fix everything. GeeGee I think the shed should be renamed for the duration - the "garden room" or "the annex"...
