Re: Base for 1000L IBC

We have a 1300 ltr oil tank in the garden, I use hardcore tamped down and 3x2 paving slabs on top. must be level works fine.
Dont go too near the border wall to your neighbours you could upset the founds with the weight and crack the wall.

Re: Another little step towards a cashless society.

without getting into politics it turns my stomach thinking what the gov and wealthy of this country think of the poor sick and hard working people. And what they are doing with benefits, NHS ect . This is one of the reasons i prep (one day we may be a cashless society, but not in the way they think)

Re: New chainsaw.

Always check your chain, i was sharpening my chainsaw and found a couple of cutting teeth had snapped off, needless to say the chain was replaced.
also always make sure there's plenty of chain oil in the tank........... happy cutting :D

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 4

Hi Andy
I have most of the above and full safety clothing, learnt my lesson when i had a fight with a hedge trimmer (i lost)
luckily i had my kit on hand and was able to stem the bleed myself. you can never have enough training as accidents do happen
thanks for the list above :) :)
