If you have Cat5 cables run, but want the 'normal' sort of CCTV cameras (instead of the 'network' type cameras that use Cat5 for the entire system) you can use whats called a Balun on each end of the cable, this allows you to send both power and video down a Cat5 cable and use cameras with the usual...

theres a place not far from pen y fan that has a huge open field, that spans 3 sides of a hill, if that makes sense, and also has some woodland, all for camping in, with enough space to get away from everyone, and they allow open fires

the worst ones of these are the types who give their house a name, but dont actually display it, and every other house in the street has a number on the door part of my job is visiting numerous properties every day, and the number of times youll see something like mrs bloggs yew tree house somewhere...

Can't comment on which is best for your buck but few seem waterproof. IDE want mine waterproof ,who wants wet kit ?. And I don't want to keep getting out the rain cover ,buy a waterproof bag in the first place that's of size and comfy. Amazing just how quickly the lot gets wet if you get caught out...
