Li-Ion and Li-Po Battery Bank Storage

Morning all, So, for a few years I've had a couple of GP Batteries 10,000mah Li-Ion USB battey banks fully charged in storage (used only once or twice). They are starting to go bit wonky now so have bought another 2 from the same brand but different model and still Li-Ion. On a whim I also bought a ...

Re: Disneyland Paris kit list

Another hopefully not too flippant.....something to entertain the kids if waiting in a line for a long time and/or possible lengthy Eurostar delays. So I think packing 1 or 2 usb battery banks may be a good idea. I've never been to Eurodisney myself but have seen people wearing the branded disposabl...

Re: Trying to build Solar Power Bank

Hi and thanks for the info. I guess yes I should have thought before that UPS batteries are not designed to be charged/discharged frequently. I'll start looking at deep cycle ones. Also thanks for the other info. I still got some reading and understanding to do.

Thanks

Steve

Re: Barbados Holiday Prep

Thanks for the tips. We both have a pre paid Visa debit cards. Mine is Revolut and the Mrs is Caxton. You preload them with sterling and then use in more or less any country and currency you wish. They do not charge fees just make money from the exchange rate (which is very good or you can change al...

Re: Barbados Holiday Prep

Thanks for the advice, appreciated :) The pen knife will be in the hold luggage with the rest of the kit. Carrying while there I do not think will be a problem. It's in a pouch, in a pouch, in a bag. So am not really waving it about plus am thinking that in countries/climates like this having a knif...

Re: Dehydration in Uganda

$80 I think in Uganda is quite high considering an accountant earns under $10k per year https://www.averagesalarysurvey.com/uganda Hopefully this is not a bad thing to think or say but maybe the amount of wasteage can be linked to the starvation levels in this continent? There is no or not enough in...
