:D So finally got my first allotment on sunday,been on the list for 18 months ! I have planted toms and cucumber in the greenhouse but the plot is a jungle of weeds.Its 33x50 foot so covered most with tarps and going to dig about a third over first to get some potato and onions going.Can feel my bac...

Hello again everybody ,just checked when i last logged on,almost 2 yrs ! Family member has had serious illness and been to and fro hospital,sometimes 5 days a week,plus doing their shopping etc,time flies by, :shock: Food preps have been invaluable lately as self employed means no work equals no pay...

At the close of u.s stock market today,after making significant gains this week,gold just dropped 10 pound in 3 minutes !Either someone just sold tonnes of it on the comex or a blatant manipulation of the price as usual.

Negative interest rates will be in uk very soon.I cashed out my ISA over 12 months ago and bought pm which will over the long term always increase in value.

I came across a similar case some years back in Paddington station at the height of the IRA bombing, I told the police in the station, one walked over to the case and without any warning just picked it up and opened it, lucky for him and the rest of the people in the busy station it was just clothe...

heads up,just visited asda and found smartprice tinned new spuds 500g at 15 pence ! also all heinz soups/beans and sausages are on offer at 50 pence.missus not happy,filled cupboards to busting point !

I dont have a problem protecting children from illness,in fact I had all my kids innoculated with the usual MMR and such.The flu vaccination is fine for vulnerable people or those of us over a certain age ! but for healthy children ? I am not convinced on this one,thats all.
