Re: Advice on buying a new radio

I did read that thread Phil and too be honest, i'm worried about it's long term reliability, i mean £20 for something with those specs i would not want to relay on it, it may be good now but when the SHTF I think i'd prefer something that may be a bit more sensative, after all all that coverage is n...

Re: Recommended Apps?

On the subject of apps, has anyone come across an app that gives info on the Thames Barrier and if it's open or shut, there used to be an app for it but the bolke shut it down about 9 months ago?

Re: Prepping on a tight budget

I know this is an old one but another tip is to keep a list of stuff you always need/want and visit mysupermarket.com/co.uk soz can never remember what it is, and check what store is doing bargains for that product it's not always 100% up to date but save me sheds loads over time.

I think he has a point to a large degree, for me if i had the money i would have bought a BMW GS, fitted with all the kit this is an awesome bi...

Re: Fast Transport

Used to love the old strokers myself nothing beat the noise and smell, i have not ridden for 20 odd years but i am just about to get back into it (at 49), living in London 2 wheels is the only option, I looked at BMW GS to get from my location to higher point (worried about flooding on River Thames)...
