Re: Shed with a hidden agenda

How about a row of 50 gallon plastic oil drums with screw on lids? A lot of American pepper’s bury then all over their land with everything in. You could bury them with just the top few inches shown and build your shed base on top. The barrels are perfectly sealed and the ground with keep long life ...

Prepping for away from home.

Ok so this week I was 200 miles away from home staying in a hotel for work purposes, which is becoming a regular event. I only had a small carryon suitcase and my edc, and I realised how naked I felt with out a GHB. I'm not a run to the woods guy but I have a great multi-use GHB in my car which I've...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Cheers. Yes have thought about re-usable nappies, if only as a prep. Think it will be a combination of them both. Sometimes far easier to use disposable.

Regards prepping baby food/milk for 0-6month anyone have any tips? Assume powdered formula and jars is the way to go?

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Thanks, yes lots to prep for. Baby maneuvres seem to require more kit then Invading. Will be putting a baby bag together with whatever is required and then extra. Already snapping up baby bargains and sure mount nappy will spring up whenever I see offers. On a BOB note, it really changes everything ...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Going to be a dad, so it's time to clear my spare room, save up and do some baby prepping.

Due Xmas day! So Christmas is going to be expensive.

But I guess a child is a prep for someone to look after you in your old age.

Re: Prep office/shed ideas.

Thanks for ideas everyone. For clarification I don't have a fireplace in the main house, want one but not possible. Putting in a combi boiler but as everyone knows they are useless without power. See the shed as a fall back option, storage for half of my preps - rest in main house to share the risk....

Re: Prep office/shed ideas.

I like the idea would be great for my storage shed/workshop but unfortunately don't have wide enough access, plus would love to see the neighbours face as a container is crained over the house! Any structure will have to be made onsite and made of wood to avoid planning permission but that's h...

Prep office/shed ideas.

So I've finally bought the biggest prep of all a small house in a little village near work. I am currently clearing spacein my garden for a summer house/office/whatever space 6x2.4m just under 15m2 size before building regs as I have neighbours on all sides. I will be insulating it and providing pow...

Re: Emergency generator for home

Could i suggest a battery bank, or a converted ups battery bank as an alternative. Electricity is easier to store long term, and silent in use. Plus no noise or smoke to attract attention. The main reason i avoided generators is they make you a target in times of blackout, even if its just a neighbo...

The gov and energy companies will continue to charge the green fee's though!

No subsides for green solutions but they will continue for fossil fuels and nuclear  Heaven forbid them let anyone become self sufficient and not reliant on the state and have nothing to tax us on!
