Aye I’m with Jansman with that, it is a hard and lonely life with no friends or family support, I guess though that if you do not have anyone then I can see the major appeal of it.
I have a Swedish fire steel on my keychain and 9/10 of the time I’m carrying a zippo and always have a can of lighter fuel for it in my rucksack, of course while I’m reading this thread my zippo is at home...
Spose the thing I use everyday and by that I mean many times a day and I’m using it now is my phone, fits in my pocket, that aside I’d say my small crivit penknife and my amazing fenix PD35 torch, super bright when needed and can be turned down to conserve battery.
It’s a good point, have just got my first pair of varifocals and they were £340 it is amazing though how I thought my distance vision was ok then putting these on made me realise how bad it really was.

Cheers I’ve got 50mm insulation underneath the bubble wrap and it is fully vapour proof hence why I put it up and have pushed the insulation into all the gaps you cannot get kingspan in. I’m thinking of heavily Lined curtains and a windscreen cover for the front. The insulation I’ve used is recycled...
Ok not what you were all expecting but this will be home in a few months, have been taking photos as I’ve gone along, will post again in a few weeks. Also if ppl interested I’ll do a more detailed story with more photos if I’m asked.

Cheers Deeps, it’s coming along slowly but surely, will post more pics as an when I do stuff. of course always a prepper still building up food stocks etc and have the solar panels already for van for off grid when need be.
