Re: Are pockets too much to ask?

Yeah, what would I know. I live outdoors, in all weathers. My bad, maybe 1980 style waxed cotton is the way forward. What was I thinking....Let me check with my wife, she's been living outdoors for over a year, she might know a thing or two...... Oh. Her Barbour is in storage. She says extreme cold ...

Re: Are pockets too much to ask?

Have you had a look at the Deerhunter range? (Sportsmansguncentre website). My Ram 2.0 jacket has multiple varied size pockets including a huge side zipped game pocket which is good for maps and other flat-ish stuff).

Re: Ham Radio Foundation licence

I'd say make the effort to go along to your local club in person if you can't get a response. My local club didn't respond to my emails so I went along to their club night and I was instantly welcomed by all. The end result was I gained a lot more knowledge and experience than what's required to onl...

Re: Ham Radio Foundation licence

Will do Korolev, I e-mailed them yesterday, hopefully they will respond, still nothing from the Clubs I contacted, though as I said earlier I'm not receptive to the club mentality but I would have tried if they actually answered my enquiries (Ironic innit, you would think communication would be a s...

Re: Why is no one prepping to save the crowds?

And just one final comment, this is UK Preppers, I think you'll find that's self-explanatory. To the best of my knowledge, nobody on here inhabits a bundu. Mind you, Briggs 2.0 is living outside until his house is buiit so he may beg to differ, particularly after the weather of the past couple of w...

Re: Air Gun Licence for England ?

Tom - Nice and neat but I was planning on replicating what's on my 22, with a laser on the lower rail and maybe a torch on the side. I'm a bit of a picatinny fanboy for the easy way to set up attachments. Dr Camburn - I'm with you there, I hear the same reports and it's the one thing that's over-sha...

Re: Air Gun Licence for England ?

I'd never really considered the bullpup design, not until google led me there. Having seen the design, I do see some benefits with a bullpup platform, the shorter length and weight more rearward are positive features which are starting to float my boat. The price is sort of what I was expecting to p...

Re: Air Gun Licence for England ?

I've got a bit of a rat issue at the moment. Trapping is not getting the results I need so it's time to knock them over humanely. Where they are, it's not practical for me to use a 22LR or the 12G so I'm in the market for a fairly robust and powerful air rifle. I'm thinking of the Hatsan Gladius in ...
