Re: Who will rebuild? And with what....
I agree with PREPINSU. The time to train and gather knowledge is NOW.... Spread your knowledge to those who are willing to accept it, the rest???? Well the rest of the zombies can carry on in sheep mode. I think that a group of people who bond together will eventually get the skills to develop their...

Lifesaver Bottle
Got myself a 6000 ltr Lifesaver bottle. Absolutely brilliant specs... i cannot find Anything else out there that filters down to these levels. On the face of it, it is the best bug out solution available, as you can save weight and have 'clinically' pure water. However, when it arrived i discovered ...

Re: Could someone help me find a BOB rucksack.
These types of holdall bags with shoulder straps are ok if you are wandering around on Platform 1 waiting for the 3:15 to nowhere, but they are crippling when you try walking for more than 500mtrs (ive tried it many times).
Go for a good hill walking type of load carrying system or a military bergan.

Re: My BOB/ GHB Combi.... PIC HEAVY
Basic rule of thumb is:
Heavy items at the top
Medium items in the middle
lighter items at the bottom
So that your shoulders are taking most of the weight...
Generally works in theory, but also depends on how quickly you want to access the items in your bergan.

Re: Original Water Bottle vs Food Grade Bucket?
I think you cannot beat original packaging for anything, so given the choice i would prefer the original bottles... however i don't really like clear bottled water for storage as most of them are clear and contain BPAa which leach into the plastic..

Re: Face masks to prevent illness
Has anyone tried the FFP3 face masks that Toolstation sell? Seem quite cheap to me, however, if they have reached the FFP3 standard then they can't be bad. However to prevent illness you have to adopt a 'complete solution to prevention - whilst avoiding walking down the street wearing full IPE, then...

Re: What is your concept of Bugging Out?
At some point everyone may have to 'Bug-Out' from wherever they are, be it their 'bugging in' location or your alternate emergency location. You will always have make plans for extraction. Remember your Bug out location is 'somewhere else!'. Either way, you will have to come up with a plan on how to...

Re: Home made anesthetic?
Excellent! Thanks for the Clove Oil tips, i also thought that it was only effective for toothache problems. Just finished with my Chloroform experiment: Used a huge amount of bleach at 5.4% with pure acetone, both almost frozen, left it for 24 hours, separated the layers and also added a touch of Et...
