Seen a few guides saying not to use plasterboard not a clue why as I've been involved in fire testing the stuff and once skimmed no way will it burn had a BIG propane burner heating a sandwich of 12mm gyproc PIR insulation and another 12mm after an hour it the intense flame hadn't penetrated the fir...

I was gifted a nice set of cast iron frying pans recently so have seasoned those. No totally flu less that said there's the legecy vent from the old back boiler in the living room plus trickle vents in the windows so its not sealed

Got this project underway. Chimney has been capped so a open fire was a none starter without scaffolding. So for now.. Years ago went to get an ex army landrover with my dad... it was raining so I wore a pair of DPM trousers as it's inevitable to get oily wetness on them.... closest tshirt to hand was an olive green one with a red skull in the middle from the band "de-mob" never heard of them but liked the t-shirt....

Chffing gel has its place, I don't use it outdoors as I don't think it kicks out enough heat, certainly not in inclement conditions but I've used it in bothies and its fine, not as quick as gas on max chats etc but if someone is looking for something to use when the mains go off, it will cook your ...
