Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

I did my first shift at the William Wilberforce pub on Thursday, 9 hours, it nearly killed me cos it's the longest I've been on my feet since June last year, when I quit my previous job due to a spinal injury (2 fractures, causing scoliosis and lytic sponydylilolisthesis. Finishing my packing this w...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Most of my prepping has been to eat through most of my preps, because I'm moving from a 1 bedroom flat in leicester, to a 2 bedroom house in Hull. So I will be starting afresh. I'm happy that I'll finally have a garden so that I can start growing fruit and veg.

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Where I live in leicester, we have a number of man made canals/rivers, unfortunately they have a tendency to flood on a very regular basis, it only has to threaten rain and they seem to bloody swell. We also have a man made Brooke running through a place called Syston in its town centre and that has...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

Deep thinker. I don't think it is overkill tbh. What a lot of people haven't taken into account is that by shoring up flood defences in some areas, it has pushed flood water further up river to flood areas that had never flooded before, also the underground aquifers are still over flowing from the b...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? Part 3.

I'm doing some shopping around at the moment. I got £100 from my parents as a new year present. I can't decide what to spend it on. Unusual for me, it normally burns a hole in my pocket. I'm happy at the moment cos I'm actually level at the minute for a change too. The meds I'm on for the bipolar ar...

Re: What preps are you doing this week? part 2.

Well after the rollocking I've had from you guys regarding my stupidity with my bipolar meds, I've now stopped skipping doses, and I've arranged an appointment with my shrink for a week on Monday. I went out shopping today and got some tinned food and rice, pasta and soups and I got myself a new sle...

Re: any of you on prescribed meds?

Im on a relatively low carb diet already, cos carbs give me stomach problems. I have to be careful what i eat, i only eat things like brown rice, pasta and bread, i have to eat slow releasing carbs.
