Has anyone thought about solar ? I know winter is obviously darker, but is there enough sun to recharge enough storage batteries to make it a worth while investment ?

I know it wont be enough for heat but for everything else....

finally got moved back to the uk from oz, got myself a house, in the process of restarting my life back in the UK, currently renovating adding some much needed storage and planning out what to do with the garden (think i might have missed the season given the weather!

Did anyone pickup one of the folding USB solar cells from the last kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bro ... solar-cell) I missed them but I see he now has them on his website...

Do you find the combo of wind + solar gives you enough coverage for your power use ?
