Re: Brexit in October?

All political discussion aside, I do find the date an interesting choice.
Samhain is an important Pagan festival, its the end of harvest and the start of the year. Its the time you see what you've gathered in and prepare for the onset of winter (the hardtimes).

Look to your Preps friends.

Re: Brexit in October?

I'm of the same mind. When negotiating you need to be able to walk away, saying "we have to have a deal, any deal" puts you in a weak position at the table You wouldn't walk into a car showroom and say to the guy "I'm not sure what I'm after but I'm going to buy it from you". Exactly my point

Re: Brexit in October?

Yep, yep, and yep ... I'm with Deeps nowadays in spoiling my ballot paper. People worked hard to get me the right to vote, so I won't not go, but I won't condone any of the nonsense, plus the constituency I live in is very far apart from my own views. So I spoil, and live in hope that someone, some...

Re: Tin opener

The only can we've had fail in storage was a ring-pull (cat food in this case), it took hours (spread over a couple of days) to find it by smell alone.... We first thought one of the Mogs had bought something half dead in and let it loose. The stink was unreal (insert "Puking" emoticon here).

Re: BOB Multi Tool

I got a SOG powerlock and removed the knife-blade. I love the compound pliers and that all the tools lock. Mine is one of the ones with the V-tool so I can still use it to cut cord and stuff like seatbelt webbing without having an actual knife on it (I carry a lock knife for work, a fixed blade if I...
